Address and Contact Information Updates

All international faculty and scholars must notify ISEO of address changes within 10 days of the information changing, per immigration regulations. In between requests (Initial/Extension/Amendments/Change of Status) you may need to update address or contact information with ISEO. You can notify us of any address or contact information changes via iServices.

REMINDER

All international faculty and scholars must notify ISEO of address changes within 10 days of the information changing, per immigration regulations.

If you have not done so already, ensure your contact information is updated on the UC San Diego systems (e.g. UC Path)

Note: J-1 and F-1 students who are enrolled full-time in classes at UC San Diego should NOT be using these instructions and should refer instead to the separate ISEO Student Services change of address instructions.

Step 1: Notify ISEO of your change in address or contact information through iServices.

J-1 Scholars: Complete the J-1 Scholar Contact Information Update form.

  • Once this is completed, ISEO will update your SEVIS record for you.

Employment Based Scholars: Complete the Employment Based Scholar Amendment Request form.

Step 2: H-1B Scholars need to notify USCIS within 10 days

H-1B Faculty/Scholars: In addition to you notifying ISEO, you are required by law to notify USCIS of any change in residential address changes within 10 days via  Form AR-11 .
